Stafford Junction is dedicated to improving lives through faith and action. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity, we are committed to helping children and families in Stafford County struggling with poverty. Our mission is to provide meaningful support to those in need, focusing on education, empowerment, and healthy living. We work closely with residents, churches, service agencies, and businesses to build connections, foster understanding, and positively impact our community.
In 2002, the Stafford County Sheriff's Department assessed the Olde Forge community, which struggled with an elevated crime rate. The evaluation identified a range of challenges, including poverty, domestic violence, substance abuse, unsupervised children, and an increase in non-English speaking and refugee families. In response, the Sheriff's Department launched a call to action, leading to the creation of Stafford Junction, a nonprofit organization with a faith-based approach focused on enhancing the well-being of children and families in low-income regions of Stafford County. Stafford Junction's programs prioritize education, nutrition, and healthy living, aiming to improve the lives of those residing in low-resource areas by providing them with a pathway to a better future.
